The splint in very soft material, which is often used to move or mobilize the patient, in situations where there is no need for a ceiling lift or where the patient does not have to be lifted from the bed. 

Can also be used as a soft sheet on top of the disposable sheet, as well as covering/shielding for patients during surgery.
