USE

The intended use for 1442 Torso strap is to support and retain the upper extremity in a natural position during surgery and under anesthesia. The Torso strap is placed over the patient (the patient is positioned in a supine position) and under both upper extremities with the patient’s elbows placed in the middle of the Torso strap width, with the upper extremities placed flat along the patients side on the surgical bed. Subsequently, the Torso strap is led back over the abdomen and attached with the velcro (hook and loop). When placing and tightening the Torso strap, the medical professional must ensure that the patient has full respiratory movement, and that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s upper extremity is taken into consideration.

The Torso strap is only intended for this use and may not be used for other purposes.
