Nb. 1

The intended use for the thigh strap 1100, 1101, 1121, 1140 and 1150 is to securely fixate and positioning the patients on the surgical bed, during surgery and under anesthesia.  The thigh strap is led under the surgical bed and over the lower extremity. The thigh strap must be placed over the middle of the femur, and the thigh strap must be attached and fasten with the Velcro (hook and loop). When placing and tightening the strap, the medical professional must ensure and take into consideration that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s lower extremity and knee joints is not overstretched.  The maximum amount of pressure applied to the straps when correctly applied and the velcro hook and loop completely cover each other must not exceed 107 kg. (1050 newton). The thigh strap is only intended for this use and may not be used for other purposes.

The intended use for thigh strap 1121, and 1140 is to is to securely fixate and positioning the patients on the split surgical bed with split legplates, during surgery and under anesthesia fx. laparoscopic surgery. The thigh strap is lead under the legplate and over the lower extremity. The thigh strap must be placed over the middle of femur, on both the left and right lower extremity and the thigh strap must be attached and fasten with the Velcro (hook and loop). When placing and tightening the strap, the medical professional must ensure that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s lower extremity and knee joint is not overstretch must be taken into consideration. The maximum amount of pressure applied to the straps when correctly applied and the velcro (hook and loop) are completely covering each other must not exceed 107 kg. (1050 newton). The thigh strap is only intended for this use and may not be used for other purposes.
