USE

The intended use for the 1710 Foot strap no velcro is to lift the patient’s lower extremity on the surgical table during the skin disinfection process before surgery of the lower extremity in the pre-operative phase. The patient’s foot is led into the foot strap and one strap goes around the heel and one strap goes over the dorsum pedis. After attaching the foot strap to the patient's foot the leg is lifted and the foot strap is mounted on the equipment intended for raising legs. The foot strap is removed after the skin disinfection process is completed and before the surgery begins. The maximum amount of pressure applied to the strap when correctly applied must not exceed 112 kg. (1100 newton).
