The intended use for the 1701 Foot/arm strap no velcro is to lift the patient’s lower extremity on the surgical table during the skin disinfection process before surgery of the lower extremity in the pre-operative phase. The patient’s foot is led into the foot/arm strap in the intended loop. The foot is fixated by adjusting the foot/arm strap with the adjustment strap. When placing and tightening the foot/arm strap, the medical professional must ensure that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s foot is taken into consideration. The foot/arm strap is removed after the skin disinfection process is completed and before the surgery begins

The intended use for the 1701 Foot/arm strap no velcro is to lift the patient’s upper extremity on the surgical table during the skin disinfection process before surgery of the upper extremity in the pre-operative phase. The patient’s wrist is led into the foot/arm strap in the intended loop. The wrist is fixated by adjusting the foot/arm strap with the adjustment strap. When placing and tightening the Foot/arm strap, the medical professional must ensure that sufficient blood circulation to the patient’s wrist is taken into consideration. The Foot/arm strap is removed after the skin disinfection process is completed and before the surgery begins.

The Foot/arm strap is only intended for the use reported above and may not be used for other purposes. The maximum amount of pressure applied to the strap when correctly applied must not exceed 86 kg. (850 newton).
