The intended use for 1600, Beach chair head straps is to safely fixate and position the patient’s head on the beach chair surgical table during surgery and under anesthesia. The Beach chair head strap set consists of 2 straps, one forehead strap (the longest), and a chin strap (the shortest). The forehead strap is led through a slit in one of the sides of the head positioner and over the patient’s forehead and through the corresponding slit on the other side of the head positioner. The two ends of the forehead strap are led back over the patients forehead and secured with the Velcro (hook and loop) on the middle of the forehead. When placing and tightening the forehead strap, the medical professional must ensure that the strap is adjusted to the patient’s head size. The  chin strap is led through a slit in one of the sides of the head positioner and under the patient’s chin and through the corresponding slit on the other side of the head positioner. The two ends of the  chin strap are led back over the patient's chin and secured with the Velcro (hook and loop) on the middle of the chin. When placing and tightening the chin strap, the medical professional must ensure that the strap is adjusted to the patient’s head size. The Beach chair head strap is only intended for this use and may not be used for other purposes
